To be labeled Satsuma Gyu, cattle must meet the following standards: Tajima-Gyu (Japanese Black) born and raised within Kagoshima Prefecture, grain-fed, having an overall quality rating of A5 (BMS5-12).
At GU, the beef is grilled on charcoal in our Mibrasa charcoal oven, stable temperature of 250-350 degrees Celsius allows the meat to remain juicy, enhances the natural flavors, and brings out a unique smoky taste.
